Other Self.

Here are a couple of quick A3 development prints, done for a diptych which will be double the size. These are part of a personal project that I have been working on about beliefs and rituals - more to follow soon!

And heres the two side by side, so you can see how the final will look:

Also here is a drawing from my sketchbook, another plan for a print I'm working on for this same project. I'm not sure I will be able to layer up this many colours, so I may end up laying a few of the flat colours down first with pen, then printing on top.
I have been scanning it in in stages, just because I thought it might be interesting to show more of the process.

Amelia's Magazine D&AD Review

I'm pleased to say my Monoprints were featured by Amelia's Magazine in the Best of D&AD New Blood Review for Illustration & Graphics Design Graduates!

A couple more Portraits.

Here are two more portraits I have been working on, both done in watercolour and ink.

This first one is of a little Dachshund, I really like her expression here.

This second one, done for a friend, is of her hamster Bovril who sadly passed away recently. I chose to paint mainly in brown ink rather than black, in order to give a softer look.

Woof Woof

While I was finishing off all my uni work, a list of portrait commissions had built up. I have been working my way through them now I have a little more free time.

Here a drawing I finished off a couple of days ago.
